The Mardi Himal trek is a stunning and romantic adventure in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The Mardi Himal trek is particularly special because of the isolated route, which makes it an adventurous and romantic experience. The trek starts from Deurali and leads to the High Camp, where you’ll have the chance to see dramatic views of the beautiful mountains. Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to see the traditional agricultural system, water mills, and cattle farming of the local people. This trek is also known for the hospitality of the local ethnic people and the chance to discover their culture and lifestyle.
The trek ends by returning to Pokhara via Siding village, which provides a rich cultural experience. This trek is perfect for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy the beauty of nature in a serene and peaceful environment.

Mardi Himal Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu (1,400m) to Pokhara (827m)
– Travel: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (approximately 6-8 hours by bus)
– Overnight: Pokhara
Day 2: Drive to Kande (1,770m) and Trek to Deurali (2,210m)
– Trekking Time: 4-5 hours
– Highlights: Start your trek with a scenic drive to Kande and then hike to Deurali through lush forests and terraced fields.
– Overnight: Deurali
Day 3: Deurali (2,210m) to Forest Camp (2,540m)
– Trekking Time: 5-6 hours
– Highlights: Trek through beautiful rhododendron forests and enjoy breathtaking mountain views.
– Overnight: Forest Camp
Day 4: Forest Camp (2,540m) to Low Camp (3,150m)
– Trekking Time: 4-5 hours
– Highlights: Ascend to Low Camp and soak in stunning vistas of Machapuchare (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range.
– Overnight: Low Camp
Day 5: Low Camp (3,150m) to High Camp (3,580m)
– Trekking Time: 3-4 hours
– Highlights: Trek to High Camp and prepare for the ultimate ascent to Mardi Himal Base Camp.
– Overnight: High Camp
Day 6: High Camp (3,580m) to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) and back to Low Camp (3,150m)
– Trekking Time: 6-7 hours (round trip)
– Highlights: Reach the base camp of Mardi Himal, enjoy panoramic views, and return to Low Camp.
– Overnight: Low Camp
Day 7: Low Camp (3,150m) to Siding Village (1,750m)**

Day 8: Siding Village (1,750m) Drive to Pokhara
– Travel: Drive from Lumre to Pokhara (approximately 2-3 hours)
– Overnight: Pokhara
Day 9: Return to Kathmandu (1,400m)
– Travel: Drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (approximately 9-10 hours by bus or 30 minutes by flight)
